Aesthetic medicine, Barcelona
Identity, website, packaging, merchandising and promotional material for Dr. Rafael Fernández's male aesthetic medicine clinic in Barcelona.
The challenge
Most cosmetic medicine clinics use a visual language designed for a female audience and then wonder why men don't walk through the door.
The brief was not just to design an aesthetic clinic brand. It was to build a credible territory for a male patient who values results, distrusts exaggeration and does not want to feel out of place in the waiting room.
Furthermore, the clinic needed to launch with everything at once: website, reference materials, packaging and support for a professional masterclass.
What we did
We built an identity based on contrast and angular geometry, which refers to the treatment without falling into the literal.
We designed the website around a single action, the request for a valuation, with the treatment explained in plain language and without unnecessary jargon.
The system was later extended to the clinic's own masterclass, where Dr Fernández trains other doctors in his jawline contouring technique.
For the opening of the clinic in Barcelona we produced the complete package of materials: press photocall, business cards, folders, notepads, gift cards and boutique bags.
The media wall is the item that offers the best return on investment at an event like this: every photo published has the brand behind it, meaning the event coverage works for the clinic long after the launch.
The rest of the material supports the first visit: the folder and notepad given out during the consultation, the gift voucher that brings in new patients through recommendations, and the bag the patient leaves with.
Since then we have managed the clinic's SEO positioning on an ongoing basis: technical work, content architecture and new content month after month.
The entire system was rendered in gold on matte black, with the RF monogram as the central piece and brass applications for the reception plates. The bags feature the details of both clinics printed on them and a QR code on the side gusset, so the piece also functions as a contact card.
The result
The clinic went to market with a coherent system across all touchpoints, from the initial search to the product the patient takes home.
The clinic operates today in Barcelona, Madrid and Dubai. Dr Fernández has amassed over 10,000 jawline enhancements and appears regularly in Forbes, La Vanguardia, ABC, AS, El Español, Vanitatis and Woman, as well as featuring among the top 30 aesthetic medicine experts of 2026 according to Forbes.
When a national media outlet calls to analyse the face of a footballer or a television contestant, the name that appears is that of the clinic. The brand system has to sustain that level of exposure at every touchpoint.
It is the project that best demonstrates the study's argument: branding, web design and packaging resolved by the same team and with the same criteria.
